Expect the worst?

Many current anthropologists focus on “fear” as a feature of built in human reasoning. We live in fear, immersed in fear … but what of transcending fear?

Is it optimism to maintain a “lie” to make people feel better? Is it right to reinforce “nice ideas” that have really dark consequences?

What does Jesus promise? – everlasting life in Heaven.

What does the Devil promise? – utopia and everlasting life on Earth.

We must decide: which voices dot we listen to …

But furthermore? – what should we expect …

Are we merely awaiting catastrophe?

We can’t know the age … and throughout history there have been very troubling times. But we must be on watch – because the Age of God, the final age of man, might be upon us. We must be diligent, but not panicked.

We must have the courage to peer into the universe and discern …

And if we feel the need to raise alarm? – do so.

But do so knowing that there will be a better time …
